According to UK health officials, this infection has come from Nigeria and according to the World Health Organization (WHO), the first case of monkeypox occurred in humans in the year 1970.

So far a person infected with this virus is vaccinated against smallpox, which helps to a great extent in preventing this disease and it reduces the risk of living. The infected person is kept in isolation so that the disease does not spread to others. It is advisable to use a face mask and take care of cleanliness.
